I got burns on my toes and my psychodic grandmother wanted me to go to the hospital. 4 days later.. after removing my bandages they said yup.... your good.. put their own tape on my toes WAY TOO TIGHT.. and i removed it immediately.. and got a bill for $2,200. Hey come on. You know that old stock fan is not doing a single thing without the shroud not 1 single mechanical fan will cool at all without a shroud to Make the fan the draw air through the radiator. That cooling 101. Always remember KISS!! Keep it simple stupid. So as far as the ac blowing warm at way speed it sounds like the electric fan is now the new problem. If it on at hi way speed it’s restricting airflow or can be. If it’s under power it won’t free spin at road speed allowing enough airflow. Maybe. It’s possible. I have seen it more than once. So why can you not do dyno pulls on the big block. Yes I understand it is a dry deck and heads. But what is the difference in doing a pull let it cool do a pull and let it cool. It’s no different than racing it. Doing a pass then putting the fans to it. Running another pass put the fans to it. Run another pass / fans repeat repeat repeat. So what’s the difference in doing that on the dyno? Ah nothing. Put a fan on it or setup an oil cooler or you could possibly do an oil to water cooler and run a chiller. Like an air to water chiller they are fairly cheap. Anyway

Hopes and prayers for Billy and your family ! Doing anything on a gas tank is dangerous always fill with water before cutting or drilling one ! Lost a friend cutting a fuel tank in his shop I had just said to him man that's dangerous fill those things with water next day he was gone .

dang burns are so painful. I've always been warned about working on fuel tanks. aways clean them and then set them up at the back of a running car with the exhaust in the tank and let it idle for 20 30mins and even then I've worried.

I fell down the stairs carrying a big pot of boiling water and had to spend 3 weeks in OSU Burn Unit. I got baseball sized blisters and blisters on blisters all down the back of my legs and buttocks. Luckily the water didn't get to my jewels. I couldn't believe the amount of damage it did just from water soaking into my pants.

I'm truly surprised Billy made that mistake. I've watched him for years and would've never bet a dime on him forgetting the risks of fuel vapor igniting. I can tell he's more embarrassed than hurt. Hopefully they gave him the good stuff so that pain doesn't take over tho...

Thank god he's still with us. Think he's much wiser now and twice as much willing to say hey I'm gonna be safe for my family and myself. I know I do. To those we lost this week my prayers are with their families.

I remember when I had a tank explode. Was just dropped and came back and my garage was on fire. No idea how it happened no electric or anything near it. Just ran inside to piss, came back and half the concrete was on fire

Local repair shop .. guy changing fuel tank .. tank drops fuel hits ol school trouble light. He goes up in flames. He died 2 days later. Always be cautious with fuel

That's a terrible thing what happened to you billy , my condolences and my whole family's is praying for you brother , Give it time you will be okay Jesus is on your side , I was about your age and what happened to me with a battery , I was jumping my hot rod somehow it sparked and the top of the battery blew off right in my face , and the battery acid went in my eyes I did not think I was going to see anymore , But my doctor took care of me Just like they are going to take care of you , all of us love you my friend, these guys at house of pearl, To me they do very good work , and you are going to pay for it
